01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.
02 - Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels and place them in the prepared baking dish.
03 - In a small bowl, combine melted butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and chopped parsley.
04 - Pour the butter-lemon mixture evenly over the cod fillets.
05 - Top each fillet with a lemon slice.
06 - Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout.
07 - Garnish with extra parsley and serve immediately.
