01 - In a large mixing bowl, blend the oats, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, flaxseed, chia seeds, and salt until evenly mixed.
02 - Add peanut butter, maple syrup or honey, and vanilla extract to the dry mix. Stir thoroughly with a spatula until the mixture is uniform and sticky.
03 - Scoop heaping tablespoons of mixture and roll into balls between your hands. If too sticky, chill for 10 minutes before rolling.
04 - Place the energy balls on a parchment-lined tray evenly spaced.
05 - Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm the balls. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 1 week.
