Collagen Fruit Jellies (Printable)

Naturally sweet, chewy fruit jellies boosted with collagen for a healthy, guilt-free treat everyone will love.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Fruit Base

01 - 1 cup 100% fruit juice (orange, mixed berries, or apple)
02 - 2 to 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, to taste (optional)

→ Collagen & Gelling

03 - 2 tablespoons grass-fed collagen peptides (about 20 g)
04 - 3 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder (about 30 g)

# How To Make It:

01 - Pour the fruit juice into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the surface and let it sit for 2 to 3 minutes to bloom.
02 - Set the saucepan over low heat and stir constantly until the gelatin dissolves completely. Do not allow the mixture to boil.
03 - Remove from heat. Stir in the collagen peptides and sweetener if using, mixing thoroughly until fully combined.
04 - Transfer the mixture into silicone molds or a small baking dish lined with parchment paper.
05 - Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the jellies are completely firm.
06 - Remove the jellies from the molds. If using a baking dish, cut into bite-sized pieces with a paring knife.
07 - Keep the jellies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • They taste like gummy candies but secretly nourish your skin and joints with every bite.
  • The recipe takes barely fifteen minutes of hands on work before the fridge does all the heavy lifting.
02 -
  • Boiling the mixture destroys the collagen benefits and can make the gelatin seize up into stringy clumps that never set properly.
  • Gelatin must bloom in cold liquid first because dumping it directly into warm juice creates lumpy islands that no amount of stirring can fix.
03 -
  • Spray your mold or parchment with the faintest mist of cooking oil before pouring and every single jelly will release cleanly without a struggle.
  • Let the gelatin bloom the full three minutes without rushing it because patience at this stage is the difference between silky texture and grainy disappointment.
