# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • This is one of those dump and go recipes that lets you walk away and come back to something amazing
  • The flavors develop beautifully over hours of slow cooking making it taste like you spent all day in the kitchen
02 -
  • Do not skip browning the beef and vegetables first this step builds flavor that slow cooking alone cannot achieve
  • The soup will thicken as it sits especially in the fridge so you may need to add more broth when reheating leftovers
03 -
  • Making your own taco seasoning lets you control exactly what goes into it and tastes much better than store bought packets
  • If the soup is too thick after refrigerating add a splash of beef broth while reheating to return it to the perfect consistency
