01 - Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 6–8 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
02 - Butter one side of each bread slice. Toast in a skillet until golden, about 2 minutes per side.
03 - Lay out the bread slices. Spread 1 tablespoon ranch dressing on each slice.
04 - Layer the bottom slices with lettuce, turkey, roast beef, cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, tomato, red onion, and crispy bacon.
05 - Top with the remaining bread slices, ranch side down. Press gently, slice each sandwich in half and serve immediately with pickles on the side if desired.
